You don’t need me to tell you who Michael is. If you love him as much as I do, then you already know who is, regardless of whether you’ve ever met him or not. All I can do is reaffirm everything you know by sharing a little of my story, my journey from being a little girl gazing at his posters to becoming part of his world.
If you stumbled across this site and don’t know much about Michael, I suggest you watch the Earthsong video, listen to Heal The World and Childhood, read Dancing the Dream... It’s all there, every artistic creation an expression of his soul.
The only difficult thing about loving Michael is having to live in this world, to hear people telling blatant lies about him, twisting the truth, or misinterpreting something he’s said or done in a cruel or harsh way.
It’s always a comfort to hear someone speak lovingly about him, be it a friend, a family member or a fan. Although I don’t know that many people will be interested in what I have to say, I still feel compelled to say it, to be one more voice of truth for Michael. That’s the least I can do for him now.
After every encounter, particularly in 2007, 2008 and 2009, I would go home and write all about it, every word he (and the children, if they were present) and I said to each other, what he was wearing, who else was there, etc. I have over 250 pages of transcripts as well as private photographs of Michael and me, some taken by his children.
Most of the photos on this site are press photos that I found online. The stories and quotes you will read are ones that I felt Michael wouldn’t mind me sharing. I can’t go to him and ask him what to do or what to say or how much to share, and that’s really hard. All I can do is follow my heart, as I always have, and trust that I’m doing right by him.
